Conway’s Game of Life is a famous cellular automaton which mimics the dynamic patterns of growth and dissipation in a grid world, based on a few simple rules. As such it has always been attractive as a programming excercise, and my own fascination resulted in this ActionScript implementation. Made mostly for fun, it was little extra effort to upload to ActiveDen once finished.
